Multicarrier Energy distribution & Combinatorics Problem

this problem comes out while i am thinking abt energy distribution of multicarrier system. cos each signal is linearly independent to each other, total energy is linear combination of each signal's energy. this total energy distribution is just a combinatorics problem. for a set S={a1,a2,...,a_m)has m numbers of elements. if i take out of n elements with replacement from S set and add them. i will get one value S_r where r<=m^n. so what's distinct numbers of S_r i can get? and What's numbers of occuranace for each S_r? if we know this statistics, we will be able to figure out which n (numbers of subcarrier) is the most convenience one for us to use.

Reasons for my blogging Prof Ka Naung

i have been thinking to blog my daily study and thinkings which may interest the certain target of audience. Now my dream is flowing through my handwriting and start to be alive. here i'd like to explain how come i start to blog right now and choose this name, Prof Ka Naung. the name is also related to one of my many inspirations. "Ka Naung, the crown prince" is the younger brother of King Min Don, the well known king after Second Anglo-Burma World. He was one of the very first burmese guys who dedicated to technology and imported advanced technology of those days from UK, US, Italy and France to mandalay nay pyi daw. his dream was to build up the country with advanced technology. i have known many of his background history as my sleeping stories, readings and sayings of my grandfather who was quite multi literate in readings and life lessons. so in short, i become a researcher in engineering inspiring him.

the main idea of my blogging is conversation from which discussing, arguing and interchanging different concepts and reasoning styles comes along. learning is not all about mediatating alone with a pen. it is also about well conversion or interacting....

secondly, professionalism is not about only consumption, it is also contribution to soecity, environment and younger genernations of engineers.
